The SLIK PRO CF-635 is an easy traveler that can be used in situations where a full-sized tripod would not be needed or not be convenient to carry.  It has five short leg sections that extend to a maximum height of 1,310mm but close down to remarkable 370mm and weighs just of 870g.

The 600 series carbon fiber tripods all have legs made up of carbon fiber material that is actually comprised of 8 layers of inter-woven carbon strands that are then bonded together in a sealed, high-pressure furnace producing strong, light weight carbon fiber.  The legs also feature A.R.S (Anti-Rotational System) is designed into the leg locks and do not allow the individual legs sections to rotate inside each other. Each leg also has an independent lock that sets in one 3 angles to vary the height and stance of the tripod. The three setting are for maximum height, waist level or low angle photography close to the ground.

The PRO CF-635 is equipped with proprietary Speed Release Locks for fast easy set-up and pack-up. These fast easy-to-use lever locks are spring-loaded to hold each section of the tripod legs securely but do not snap-back so there is no pitching of fingers while using them.

The PRO CF-635BH4 includes the SBH-400AS ball head with “Cam Lock” Arca Swiss type quick release. This head has an easy grip ball lock lever. There is a separate panoramic lock on the base, locking the level or angle of the ball but allowing the camera to pan.  There are also 360 degree markings around the base for taking photos to stitch together for panoramic shots
